h₂éwsōs (CaffeineTracker) was built with a privacy-first architecture. We don't have servers, we don't have analytics, and we don't know who you are.
All your logs, bio-metrics, and preferences are stored in the Apple sandbox (UserDefaults) on your physical device. We cannot access it.
The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel). We do not track your usage patterns or tap history.
Product searches are sent to OpenFoodFacts anonymously. We do not send your personal profile or intake history to external APIs.
This Privacy Policy applies to the h₂éwsōs (CaffeineTracker) iOS application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. The application is designed to function completely offline regarding your personal data.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
The application uses Open Food Facts to retrieve nutritional information for barcodes and product searches.
When you search for a product or scan a barcode, the search query (barcode or text) is sent to Open Food Facts API. No identifying user data is sent with this request. You can view the Open Food Facts privacy policy at openfoodfacts.org.
We request Camera access solely for the purpose of scanning barcodes to look up caffeine content. No image data is saved, transmitted, or processed for facial recognition.
Since we do not store your data on our servers, you are in complete control. If you delete the application from your device, all data associated with the application is permanently deleted.
